In progress now

  • The task API on Bun, as standalone executables for Linux and Windows, so the shipped product needs no Node.js.
  • The engine compiled for modern CPUs, with the gain measured.
  • Faster image builds and the GPU paths that are built but switched off.
  • The first design of aidm-ui: a local server and an engine manager that installs and runs a local engine for people who do not want to deal with containers.

Not planned

  • Paid features in the engine.
  • A built-in list of hosted providers, or a default provider.
  • Compatibility with CPUs that cannot run a normal job.

Progress is visible in the open pull requests and issues of each repository.
